Without a shred of doubt we know where Mike is today.... and for that we are joyful! Without that knowledge the pain I feel would be overwhelming. Our heart goes out to you, Patti and the children. We loved the times we had together. I will never meet a more pleasant, honest man of integrity than Mike. I always enjoyed talking with him..... I just wish I had done it more often. We will continue think and pray for you all. In HIS Name.

Larry Davis was my Field Training Officer when I started with the Albany Police Department in 1984. Larry was a "Top Cop", a true professional and dedicated Family man. He shared stories about his family and his faith and imparted knowledge that has in all likelihood saved my life several times over.
I am better off for having known him.

You all are in our thoughts and prayers. Mike leaving us is such a shock to everyone. May you find comfort in God during this time in your lives. He will give you the strength you need to get through this time. Everyone says that time is a good healer, but no one tells you how long it takes for you to feel better. Know that Mike is looking down from heaven and is watching over you at all times. May God bless you. Tim and Lydia

to Patti and family, it was a tremendous shock to hear of Mike's homegoing. Brenda knew Mike growing up at Southside Baptist Church and i had the privilege of meeing him in 1968 when Bremda and I got married. He was a joy to talk with and his smile that he always had for who he would come in contact with. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Our hearts and prayers are with you during this time. May God's grace sustain you!

Larry was a prince among men and a blessing to many through the depth of his character. I often looked to him for advice through the years, and never failed to come away all the better for it. I am grateful to God for his life and example. Our deepest sympathies to all his family and loved ones, friends, and co-workers.

I worked with Larry Davis at the Albany Police Department for many, many years. No matter when I saw him he was always smiling; he was the kind of person that always had a kind word. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time. May God bless you!
