Carol Hay Hollomon, 65, Albany, GA, died Saturday, April 19, 2014.

Her funeral service will be 11 AM on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Patmos Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Don Adams and the Rev. Mary Nell Hall will officiate.

Mrs. Hollomon was born in Camilla, GA, and graduated from Baker County High School in the Class of 1966. She attended Albany Junior College, which is now Darton College. Mrs. Hollomon was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and the Library Sunday School Class. Mrs. Hollomon was the Founder and President of TIME, Inc. (Together In Megan's Eyes). She had served on the Board of Megan's House, which was named after her daughter. Mrs. Holomon was a Past President and served on the Board of the Easter Seals. Mrs. Hollomon was a noted singer since her high school days, and was currently part of a trio named Next of Kin. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Megan Ashley Hollomon, and by her parents Jim Willis and Martha Frazier Hay.

Mrs. Hollomon is survived by her husband: Wayne Hollomon, Albany; a son: Mark Hollomon (Kim), Powder Springs; sister: Dianne Hay Hall (Robert), Newton; 3 grandchildren: Logan Hollomon, Jacob Hollomon, Samantha Hollomon, all of Powder Springs; 6 nieces and nephews: Rob Hall, Washington, DC, Jim Hall, Newton, Dee Dee Hall Burnum (Lamar), Newton, Martha Hall Nolf (Kenny), Elmodel, Colby Drake, Loganville; 5 great nieces and nephews: Alex Hall, Athens, Nathan Nolf, Newton, Tanner Nolf, Lindsey Nolf, Griffin Nolf, all of Elmodel; sister-in-law: Sharon H. Drake (Robin), Loganville; brother-in-law: Elvan Hollomon, Macon.

The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 6-8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to TIME, Inc. for the New Megan's House, 1906 Palmyra Rd., Albany, GA 31701.
