Charles H.Mullis Jr. went to be with the Lord June 27 2014. He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather. He was born in Sylvester November 7, 1934 to Charles Mullis and Ethel Poston Mullis and lived most of his life in Sylvester and Albany. After two years of service in the Army, he returned to Albany where he worked for Proctor and Gamble as a sales representative for 33 years. After early retirement, he devoted himself to the things he loved; his family, church, travel and his love of the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, canoeing, hunting, fishing, and especially growing wild flowers. He was a member of First Baptist Church for 42 years where he was a Deacon and a Sunday School teacher. In later years, he was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 57 years Patricia (Pat) Patterson Mullis, children Candy Mullis of Atlanta, Harold (Hal) Mullis (Laura) of Seattle, Patricia (Tricia) Lightle (Jim) of Atlanta, three grandchildren Sarah Lightle, Andrew Lightle and Lillian Mullis.
