Cynthia Joy (Cindy) McCorkle, 63, of Albany, died Saturday March 22, 2014. Funeral service will be held Wednesday 2 PM at Crown Hill Mausoleum with Rev. Douglas Hatcher officiating.
A native and life long resident of Albany, Ms. McCorkle was a member of the Morningside United Methodist Church. A Registered Nurse, her entire career was with Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital retiring in 2012.
Survivors include a son Keith McCorkle and his wife Carla of Leesburg, a grandson, Austin McCorkle of Leesburg, a sister, Patsy Hatcher and her husband Lanis of Albany, 2 nephews Billy Hatcher and his wife Debbie and Chris Hatcher and his wife Brooke, great nieces, Reese Hatcher, Piper Hatcher and Crystal Crews, great nephew, Kyle Hatcher, 2 great great nephews, Jacob Crews and Wyatt Crews and a beloved poodle Izzy B.
The family will be at the residence of Patsy and Lanis Hatcher, 1620 Red Oak Lane., Albany GA and will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM Those desiring please make memorials to The Albany Humane Society, 1705 Oakridge Dr., Albany, GA 31707.
