Mr. David Warren Lawhon, 60, of Albany died Tuesday Mar 25, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be held Thursday 11:00AM at Kimbrell-Stern. Rev. Jason Spears will be officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday 6 to 8 PM at Kimbrell-Stern.

Born in Beaufort, SC, Mr. Lawhon lived in Albany most of his life where he owned Southland Beauty Supply. He was an avid Hunter and Deep Sea Fisher. Mr. Lawhon loved spending time at St. George Island with his family and spending special time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Freddy and Margaret Lawhon who both died in 2012.

Survivors include his wife Kathy Lawhon of Albany; a daughter Heather Sadler and her husband Bil of Albany; three grandchildren Cole Sadler, Layne Marie Sadler and Macy Sadler; His sister Kathi Reynolds and her husband Gary of Leesburg; Mother and Father in law Homer and Kathleen George, Thomasville, GA, sister in law, Linda Moore, Charlottesville, VA and several nieces and nephews.
