SMSGT Gale T. Lyall, USAF (Ret.), 85, of Albany died Tuesday April 29, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday (Today) at 10:00AM at St. Teresa's Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Floral Memory Gardens. Rev. Paul Ladda will be officiating.
Born in Jefferson, North Carolina, Mr. Lyall retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service and also retired as an Accountant (Civil Service ) from the Marine Corp Logistics Base. He was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife Rita Jean Hearn Lyall of Albany; a daughter Jeanne Marie Davis and her husband, Bruce, of Douglasville, GA; a son Blain Lyall and his wife, Dellen; a sister Mary Zell Canaday of Virginia Beach, VA; four granddaughters and six great grandchildren.
