Mozelle Champion Edington, 84, of Porter, TX, formerly of Sasser, GA, died Friday, June 13, 2014.

Her funeral service will be 11 AM on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Macedonia Cemetery, Terrell County, GA. The Rev. Wallace Willis will officiate.

Mrs. Edington was born in Water Valley, MS. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Porter, TX. Mrs. Edington was a military wife and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, M/Sgt. Charles K. Edington, USAF (Ret.); her siblings, Marie Sanders, Coren Hollingsworth, and Frank Champion.

Mrs. Edington is survived by a son: Charles Michael (Mike) Edington and his wife Frankie, Bastrop, TX; daughter: Teresa Edington Walker and her husband Scott, Southport, FL; grandchildren: Charles Daniel Edington and his wife Lindsey, Portland, OR, Jeremy Wayne Dyson, Athens, GA, Charles Fletcher Edington, Austin, TX, John Michael Edington, Bastrop, TX; great grandchild: Marlow Hazel Edington, Portland, OR; sisters: Lura M. Trainer, Southaven, MS, Nelda Wilburn, Garland, TX, Shirley Sutton, Porter, TX; brother: Bob Champion, Dallas, TX.
