Nancy Hazel Cook, 95, died Friday August 22, 2014 at Wynfield Park. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 2:00PM at Kimbrell-Stern. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00PM. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Columbus, GA, Mrs. Cook had resided in Albany since May of 2014. She was a member of Veteran's Parkway Baptist Church in Columbus, GA. Hazel loved her church as well as baking for other people.

Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband, James Haywood Cook and a granddaughter, Laura Cook.

Survivors include three sons, Ronald Cook and his wife, Judith, of Hilton Head, SC, Darrell Cook and his wife Cheryl, of Leesburg, FL and Larry Cook and his wife Maryse, of Albany, GA, two sisters, Juanita Johnson and Janice Thornton Ford and her husband Buddy, all of Columbus, GA, five grandchildren, Christine Poston and her husband, Dave, David Cook and his wife, Tracee, Dara Cox and her husband, Ronnie, Marla Edmonds and her husband, Ryan and Hayes Cook as well as eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Pruitt Health Hospice, United Hospice/Cordele, 708 East 16th Ave., Cordele, GA 31015.
