Mrs. Pat (Trish) Rigsby, 67 of Albany died Monday May 26, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be held Thursday 2:00PM at Kimbrell-Stern with interment to follow at Floral Memory Gardens. Her son Ryan Rigsby will be officiating.
Mrs. Rigsby was a lifelong resident of Albany. She was born in Colquitt, GA to the late M. O. Tabb and Gladys Tabb January 4, 1947. Known as Trish to some and Pat to others, she was adored by all who knew her. A student at Albany High School and a graduate of what is now Albany Technical College, She married James A. Rigsby Jr. (Jimmy) in August of 1964. Together they raised two children Ryan Reed Rigsby and Rhonda Renee Rigsby. In addition to being a dedicated wife, mother, sister and grandmother, she worked locally as a talented Cosmetologist. She was known most for her sweet disposition and contagious laugh. She was extremely proud and supportive of her family. She doted on her children and grandchildren as well as a number of nieces and nephews who loved her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents M.O. Tabb and Gladys Tabb. Her brothers and sisters Cecillia "Bay" Tabb Rogers, Linda Tabb Koch, and Billy Tabb.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years James A. Rigsby Jr. of Albany; a son Ryan Rigsby and his wife Jennifer of Jackson, GA; a daughter Rhonda Rigsby of Ft. Myers, FL ;granddaughters Jordan Colbert and Hannah Rigsby; grandsons Walker Rigsby and Joseph Colbert; Her brothers and sisters M.O. Tabb Jr and his wife Jean of California; Katie Tabb Hoover and her husband Ken of Titusville, FL; Annette Tabb Reeves of Tallahassee, FL; Jimmy Tabb and his wife Fran of Albany; Vickie Tabb Hughes and her husband Harold of Albany;
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Kimbrell-Stern.
