Mrs. Sara Margaret Fillmore Cohen passed away peacefully Wednesday morning June 4, 2014.

She was born on December 16, 1919, to Agnes Roberts and Millard Agusta Fillmore in Pittsburgh, PA. She had three brothers, Lloyd, Millard, John and a sister, Jeannette. She grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and studied at Duquesne University. She married U. S. Army Air Corps 1st Lt. George F. Moznette, Jr. Following his death in World War II she moved to be with his parents in Albany, GA.

She worked at the Lois-Annelle Shop, which was owned by Carl Cohen. Sara Margaret married Carl in Pittsburgh, PA on June 16, 1947. She was an affectionate, faithful and supportive wife to Carl and a loving mother to her three daughters. Her grandchildren knew her as "Mimi." She was a gracious hostess and perfectionist in her home. She had a natural flair for gardening. She dearly loved her grandchildren. Sara Margaret also enjoyed playing all sorts of games, card games and puzzles. She had a natural ability in mathematics, and enjoyed painting, laughing, playing the organ and singing hymns. She dearly loved a good joke.

Always a Presbyterian, Sara Margaret loved the Lord. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl H. Cohen and her three brothers. She is survived by three daughters, Agnes C. Farmer (Jim), Albany, GA, Carla C. Hargrove (David) and Jan Margaret Lewis (Samuel), Tallahassee, FL, five grandchildren, Heather Chiang (Michael), Scotch Plains, NJ, Barbara Adkins (Jonathan), Marne Owens (Kelly), Enoch Wingate, Jr. (Nicole), Tallahassee, FL, and Hayley Folmar (Phillip) Jacksonville, FL, thirteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; also her sister Jeannette Cikoski, New Medford, CT.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Albany Community Hospice, P O Box 3770, Albany, GA 31706.

The family will be receiving visitors on Sunday, June 8th form 2:00 to 4:00 PM at 1209 Maryland Dr., Albany, GA.
