Mr. Kenneth D. Ford, 4813 Marlborough Ave, died Thursday at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
His funeral service will be Saturday 11 AM at First Free Will Baptist Church with interment in Crown Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday 6 to 8 PM at Kimbrell-Stern.
A lifelong resident of Albany Mr. Ford worked with Woodford Plywood for 29 years and retired from Applied Fiber after working for them for 7 years. He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and loved to hunt, fish and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Louise Williams Ford and his brother Dean Ford.
Survivors include his wife Sue Holland Ford, Albany; children, Maj. Christopher Lee Ford (Lori), Memphis, TN, Jennifer Stupnikov (James), Spotsylvania, VA, Stacey Bannister Farrell (Chuck), Lee County, Kelli Bannister Durham (fiancé Earl Schlegel), Lee County, Jason Kyle Ford (Jill), Norman Park; grandchildren, Cora, Jack, Ian, Chucky, Kyle, Tyler, Connor, Brandon, Rhiannon, Kenny, Mikey, Craig and one due to arrive in March; his fur babies, Little Man and Jade; his father James O. Ford, Albany, sister in law Delores H. Ford, Lee County and numerous nieces and nephews.
