Mr. Walter Coles Pitman, 66, of Albany died Thursday Feb 7, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
His remains have been cremated and a private service will be held at a later date.
Born in Huntsville, AL, Mr. Pitman moved to Albany to Albany in 1974 where he retired as a manager from the Department of Family and Children's Services.
Survivors include his wife Jennifer T. Pitman of Albany; a son Robert Pitman and his wife Leslie of Montgomery, AL; a daughter Carolyn Maness of Albany; two grandchildren Mason Maness and Sarah Smith; three sister in laws Sarah Ann Pitman of Huntsville, AL; Linda McClellan and her husband Wilson of Huntsville, AL; Pam Hughes and her husband Robert of Huntsville, AL;
